You may purchase products in the Mandra web shop through the steps below.

Step 1: LOGGING IN, REGISTRATION

No registration is required for wandering around the Mandra web shop, for viewing word contents, product features and prices.

Registration is however required for product orders. You should enter the following during your registration:

1. Name
2. Address (for invoicing!)
3. Address of delivery
4. E-mail address
5. Telephone number.

Such personal details are required for flawless fulfilment of an order. Any personal information you state shall solely be used in compliance with relevant data protection regulations for administering the order process, for circulating our newsletter (if you sign up for it), and for contacting you in case any problem arises, and shall not be disclosed to any third party under any circumstances.

Step 2: ACCEPTING THE TERMS OF USE

After stating your personal details, you should accept the terms of use by clicking the button “I accept the terms of use”.

Step 3: E-MAIL CONFIRMATION, UNIQUE PASSWORD

A./ IN CASE OF NEW REGISTRATION

After accepting the terms of use, the system will automatically send an e-mail to the e-mail address you specify confirming your registration and specifying your unique password comprising letters and numbers, which you may change at any time on our web site (by clicking Change details in the Registration menu). Your e-mail address will be your user name.

In case of any change in your personal details, update by clicking Change details in the Registration menu before placing a new order.

If you do not wish to memorise the password generated by the system, then enter a new password by clicking Change details in the Registration menu after logging in.


B./ IN CASE CUSTOMERS WITH REGISTRATION

If you are a registered customer then you have to log in before placing an order, and the system will retrieve the details you specified before. If you still wish to change some detail, e.g. your address of delivery, then return to the Change details page and enter the desired change, and then proceed.

Step 4: ORDERING

After logging in, the next step of purchasing is to check the contents of your shopping cart. You may recheck and change the contents of your shopping cart before placing an order: you may return to continue shopping or may delete items placed in your shopping cart. When finalising the contents of your shopping cart, you approve the order and proceed to the Cash Desk.

Step 5: CASH-DESK, PAYMENT

Your personal details (name, address, invoicing address, delivery address, telephone, and e-mail address) then currently stored in the system will appear again. Then you may select the address to which we should deliver and the manner in which you wish to receive the product(s) ordered.

Step 6: DELIVERY TERMS

You may receive a product ordered in two ways for the time being:

1. Delivery to your door

We delivery any product ordered to your door throughout Hungary. The fee thereof is 1500 HUF (gross) in case of Cash-on-Delivery payment or 1200 HUF (gross) in case of card payment upon ordering. Delivery deadline: 2 to 4 workdays on average.

In case of orders in excess of 15,000 HUF (gross), we do not charge you any delivery cost.

Deliveries are made using a courier attempting delivery on a maximum of 3 occasions. If you are not reached at the address you specified, then you will be contacted by telephone to re-deliver the desired product at a time suiting you the best. If delivery is not successful even after 3 attempts, the product will be returned to the Mandra web shop’s customer service. Our staffs will strive to contact you for another week, and if this is unsuccessful, your order will be deleted from our system after 1 week.

2. Pick-up delivery

You may pick up and pay for any product ordered at our Customer Service Showroom during normal business hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursdays.

Our Customer Service accepts Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Mastercard Electron and Maestro cards.

Step 7: METHODS OF PAYMENT

When you have selected the delivery method, the system finalises the amount payable, i.e. in case of delivery to your door in a total value not exceeding 15,000 HUF gross, then the fee of delivery to your door (1500 HUF or 1200 HUF) will be added to the final amount payable. You should tick card payment if you have selected card payment in advance for delivery. Otherwise the system will calculate with the wrong amount and flaws may occur potentially. In case of pick-up delivery or purchases in excess of 15,000 HUF, you will not be charged for delivery, of course.

You may pay for your order in three ways for the time being:

1. If delivered to your door, upon receiving the product ordered through COD payment;

2. In case of pick-up delivery, at our Customer Service in cash;

3. On-line banking card payment in advance through CIB bank:

Mandra web shop offers its customers secure card payment provided by CIB Bank. Security relies on the separation of data. Mandra web shop receives information pertaining to the order from customer while CIB Bank only receives card details required for the payment transaction through a 128-bit SSL encrypted payment site. Mandra web shop is not informed on the data contents of the payment site, which may only be accessed by CIB Bank. Mandra web shop’s web site will inform you on the result of the transaction after payment. Your Internet browser must support SSL encryption for card payments. The equivalent of jewellery purchased, the amount paid shall forthwith be locked on your card account.

If you select card payment, you should read the detailed information provided by the bank!

What to watch when making purchases?

Read the Mandra web shop bulletin, the terms and conditions of purchasing, delivery and payment.

Keep track of your details pertaining to the purchase.

Keep track of your transaction details pertaining to payment (transaction ID, authorisation).

Ensure that unauthorised person could not access your confidential card details.

Use a browser supporting optional SSL encryption.

About security

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is an accepted encryption process. CIB Bank holds a 128-bit encryption key protecting the communications channel. The company VeriSign enables CIB Bank to use such 128-bit key to provide SSL-based encryption. 90% of global electronic trading uses this encryption method for the time being. The customer’s browser uses SSL to encrypt card holder details prior to sending so that they reach CIB Bank in an encoded format incomprehensible for unauthorised entities.

Cards accepted

CIB Bank’s Internet payment system allows for the use of MasterCard, VISA and VISA Electron cards (Electron only in case the issuing bank authorises it), and for payment by web cards fit for Internet use.

Payment steps

1. Select the jewellery or jewelleries you wish to order at Mandra web shop’s web site which you wish to pay through card payment.

2. You are then navigated to CIB Bank’s secure payment site to fill in your card details required for making the payment.

3. Click on Payment to initiate the transaction after specifying your card details.

4. After making the payment, you are returned to Mandra web shop’s web site with a confirmation of the result of the transaction. In case of card payment, CIB Bank initiates the charging of the order value to the Card Holder’s account after a successful transaction – referring to the validity of the banking card and the verification of coverage. If you are not redirected from the payment site to Mandra web shop’s web site, then the transaction should be regarded as unsuccessful. In case you click “Back” or “Refresh” in the browser of the bank payment site or you close the browser window before being redirected to the web shop, your payment shall be regarded as unsuccessful.

Should you wish to receive more information on the transaction result or cause and details of an unsuccessful transaction, contact your account managing bank.

Step 8: POSTING YOUR ORDER

After finalising the items ordered and selecting the method of delivery and payment, click on “Send” to Complete your order. Our system will send an automatic confirmation letter to your e-mail address on acceptance of your order.

You will also receive another e-mail after the compilation of your order to state the expected date and time of delivery. This will usually take place within 2 to 4 days from ordering. In case of any problem arising in compiling the products you ordered, we will contact you immediately.

MISCELLANEOUS:

COMPLAINTS AND GUARANTEE

In case of any complaint in terms of the quantity and/or quality of the product(s) ordered and delivered, the courier will return the product objected to, provided that the complaint has already been made upon receipt. Therefore, we highly recommend that you check the parcel upon receipt. In case of just complaints (e.g. you had not received what you ordered, you received in with a default or damage or in a diverging quantity), our web shop will contact you to agree on a new delivery date and time. In this even, our web shop will bear the cost of repeated delivery.

We offer a comprehensive guarantee on jewelleries we sell, all silver jewelleries are impressed and initialled*. Of course, we are unable to take responsibility for damages and impairment from use for purposes other than intended. These instances shall be governed by relevant laws.

Silver jewelleries incorporating precious stones call for particular attention. It may happen that no matter how carefully the stone is held in place, it still falls off. We offer a 6-month guarantee for that on all jewelleries we sell. This means that we replace either the jewellery or the stone at our own cost. In case of damages due to hitting some hard surface or to loss of a stone, we shall help you with repairing it, but in this case or upon expiry of the 6 months, the customer will have to bear repair costs. Silver conducts heat; thus, jewelleries with precious stones may not be repaired through soldering, i.e. rings may not be tightened for example, because that could loosen the embedded stones, which may then fall off one after the other. This is the point where we are no longer able to help. A proficient aurifex knows this and will not agree to such jobs.

*Silver jewelleries below 2 grams only have fineness markings (925) and our initials under regulations in force. Only silver jewelleries in excess of 2 grams may be imprinted (see more information on this at the NEHITI web site).

WITHDRAWAL

The legal background to the operation of web shops, such as Mandra web shop is regulated by Government Decree 17/1999 (II.5.) on contracts between remote parties, see the full wording thereof here. In accordance with that, you may withdraw from the contract without reasoning within eight (8) workdays from the receipt of the product(s) ordered. In this event, the equivalent of the goods in relation to fulfilment shall be refunded within a maximum of thirty (30) days by the operator of Mandra web shop, A-mandra Kkt. In case you paid delivery costs (i.e. the value of your order was below 15,000 HUF), then you will receive a personal voucher on that amount, which you may use upon any subsequent purchase of yours (this is 1500 HUF on COD deliveries and 1200 HUF on advance card payment deliveries).

If you pick up your order in person at our Customer Service, then you may assure whether the desired product meets your ideas. In this case, the right of withdrawal may not be exercised but the guarantee will remain valid, of course.
